Keynotes Project
Bringing music to schools, one keyboard at a time.
The Keynotes Project is an outreach initiative of the Clarion Scholarship Foundation that donates digital keyboards and provides basic music instruction to public schools and community centers across the Philippines.
By giving access to musical instruments, Keynotes seeks to cultivate creativity, discipline, and joy through music — empowering students to discover their potential and build confidence through the arts.
The project also serves as a platform for Clarion Scholars and Chamber Ensemble members to share their talents and give back to the community, embodying the Foundation’s mission of education, service, and music for all.
The Keynotes Project – Goals
1. Expand Access to Music Education
Provide digital keyboards and basic instruction to public schools, ensuring that all children — regardless of background — can experience the joy of learning music.
2. Cultivate Creativity & Confidence
Use music to nurture creativity, discipline, and emotional expression, helping students build focus, perseverance, and self-esteem.
3. Empower Scholars to Serve
Engage Clarion Scholars and Chamber Ensemble members as volunteer mentors, promoting a spirit of service and community involvement through the arts.
4. Build Sustainable School Partnerships
Collaborate with schools and teachers to integrate music into their programs and ensure continued access to music education.
5. Foster Cultural Appreciation & Community Spirit
Encourage performances and community events that celebrate music, strengthen collaboration, and enrich cultural life.
6. Evaluate Impact & Growth
Monitor how instruments and lessons are used to measure learning progress and refine future outreach efforts.
